Frequently Asked Questions
How do I know if I need an eye examination?
If you’re experiencing changes in your vision—such as blurred sight, difficulty reading, eye strain, or increased sensitivity to light—it’s advisable to schedule an eye examination. Regular check-ups are also recommended for adults over 40, even if no symptoms are present, to monitor eye health and detect any early signs of conditions that may not have noticeable symptoms initially.
Why should I get an eye examination?
An eye examination can help identify vision problems and eye diseases at an early stage when they are most manageable. Regular exams contribute to maintaining optimal vision and overall eye health, allowing you to continue enjoying daily activities without interruption.
What can I expect during my first consultation?
During your initial visit, you’ll meet with Dr. Allan Fong, who will discuss your vision concerns and medical history. A comprehensive eye examination will be conducted to assess your eye health thoroughly. Based on the findings, a personalised treatment plan will be developed to address your specific needs.
